A small wilderness lodge on Alaska's southcentral coast, set where a nine-mile fjord opens into Kachemak Bay, at the edge of Kachemak Bay State Park. It is run by Within the Wild and reached from Homer. Days are spent kayaking, hiking old-growth forest, fishing, watching whales and sea otters, and flying out to see bears on the Katmai Coast, and the lodge also runs cooking classes.
