Legal
Confidentiality.
What stays between us, and how.
Discretion is part of the work, not something added to it. This page sets out plainly what that means. The legal detail is in the privacy notice.
Your name stays private
The practice does not publish photographs of clients. A client’s words appear here only with their written permission, signed with their first name or initials, the destination and the month. If you choose to write a review of your own, where and whether is entirely your decision.
Your details go only where the journey needs them
Hotels, lodges, airlines and the people looking after you on the ground receive what they need to look after you, and nothing more. Colletts Travel Limited, the licence holder, holds what it needs to make and administer your booking. Your details are never sold, and never shared with marketers or advertisers.
Your journey page is for you alone
Once you book, your journey has its own private page, reached only by the link you are sent. It is not part of the public website and is not indexed by search engines.
Passports are sealed the moment you send them
Where a booking needs passport details, the About you form takes them, and they open only on my own computer. They are deleted 30 days after you return home, or sooner if you ask.
What you tell me about your health stays with your journey
Allergies, dietary needs and accessibility requirements are asked for only with your consent, and passed only to the properties that need them. They are deleted three months after you return home from the journey they relate to, or sooner if you ask.
Letters are not tracked
If you receive Letters, nothing records who opened what, and every Letter carries a one-click unsubscribe.
This website does not follow you
It sets no cookies and carries no advertising pixel or third-party script.
