Experiences
Beyond the itinerary
Some of what makes a journey happens around it: the aircraft that waits for you, the seat at the final, the yacht for the week, the first hour off the plane. These are arranged in the same way as everything else, as part of your journey and by the same person.
What each experience covers
Private aviation: Some journeys are better begun on your own aircraft: a family with luggage for three climates, a connection no airline schedule meets, a weekend that would otherwise lose a day to airports.
Airport arrivals: The first hour of a journey is often the worst: a long walk, a queue at immigration, a wait at the carousel. At many airports it does not have to be.
Events: Some dates are fixed long before the trip is: a final, a match, an opening night. I arrange official hospitality and tickets for the major sporting and cultural events, and design the journey around them: where you stay, how you arrive, and the evening after.
Yacht charter: A charter puts a yacht and its crew at your disposal for the week. You choose the coves, the hours and the table, and the captain plans the passage around them.
Space: A seat on a commercial spaceflight is the one booking I cannot make for this season. Passenger flights are paused between ships. The operator said in August 2026 that the next ship's first commercial flight is expected in February 2027 at the earliest.
