Zarafa Camp, run by Great Plains Conservation, overlooks the Zibadianja Lagoon in the Selinda Reserve, which links the Okavango Delta with the Linyanti waterways; the lagoon is the source of the Savuti Channel. Hippos can be seen from the camp, and elephants walk through it often. There are only four tented suites, each of more than 100 square metres, with a copper bathtub, a private plunge pool and an outdoor shower. The camp is built from recycled hardwoods and canvas and runs on electricity from its own solar farm. Meals are included and are served in the indoor and outdoor dining areas or in the private wine cellar, with a main lounge for the hours between. Days bring photographic drives in open vehicles in the early morning and late afternoon, guided walks, sundowner cruises on the lagoon and outings on the HES Zib pontoon, with tag-and-release fishing in season; the water activities depend on the time of year and the level of the water. There is an open-air gym and a spa. Scheduled flights between camps, with transfers from Maun or Kasane, are included in the rate, and the minimum stay is two nights.
