The Cove sits between two sandy coves near Gregory Town, on the inner arc of northern Eleuthera, an island about one mile wide and 110 miles long that lies some 50 miles east of Nassau. Each cove has its own white-sand beach. A major renovation replaced the old floral prints and wicker with white walls, modern furniture and rain showers, and added new beachfront rooms, reworked gardens and paths, and a refreshed infinity pool and deck. There are 57 rooms, suites and villas, among them Oceanfront King rooms. The Freedom Restaurant, renovated around a central sushi bar, is known for its Asian-inspired cooking, and the Point Bar on the cliff serves cocktails, beer and wine, with Turtle Point as a second cliffside spot for dining. A garden supplies the kitchen, and there is a spa. New activities include a snorkelling tour of the resort's coral nursery. The Cove holds a MICHELIN Key and describes itself as the only Relais & Châteaux property in the Bahamas. Pink Sands Beach on Harbour Island is further afield, a trip to plan as a day out.
