Singer Palace Hotel Roma occupies the Art Deco palazzo that Mario Loreti designed in 1930 as the Rome headquarters of the Singer sewing-machine company, and the Visocchi family opened it as a small hotel in 2018. The entrance is discreet, tucked like a speakeasy just off Via del Corso, within walking distance of the Pantheon, the Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps, and the interiors are by Milanese designer Elisa Ferrari. With only 29 rooms and suites it feels like a private house, yet it is unusually well arranged for families: 10 family or connecting options pair two separate rooms behind a shared private entrance, and the Master Singer Suite joins two king suites across 95 square metres. Cots are free for children up to two, and babysitting can be arranged. On the roof, Le Terrazze restaurant and Jim's Bar, with cocktails inspired by the 1920s, make an intimate setting for a celebration dinner. Experiences reach well beyond the hotel, from ArcheoRunning through the ancient city to after-hours visits to the Sistine Chapel. Breakfast is included in the rate.
