Grand Hotel Victoria stands in Menaggio, on one of Lake Como's quieter shores, looking across the water to Bellagio. Its late 19th-century Liberty building, the Villa, is joined by the new Palazzo, and the hotel reopened on May 27, 2021, after a two-year renovation by the Rocchi family of R Collection Hotels, designed by Franco Pè and furnished by the Italian house Talenti. For wellness, the reason to come is the ERRE Spa. At 1,200 square metres it is one of the largest on the lake, with a heated indoor pool, saunas and steam baths, Turkish baths, sensory showers and an ice room built with Starpool, and its treatments take their cues from nature. Between sessions, a 29-foot water limousine carries guests across the lake, and Victoria Beach, the hotel's own beach club, slows the afternoons right down. Dining runs from the Lago restaurant to 1827 and SHIORI 1827, an Asian fusion table, with the Manzoni and Griso bars and a cellar of some 400 labels. The hotel closes from December to February, and it has held two MICHELIN Keys since 2024. There are 73 rooms and suites.
