Le K2 Palace opened in 2011 at Courchevel 1850, created by Suzanne and Philippe Capezzone as a Savoyard hamlet of wood and stone on the edge of a pine forest, with the peaks of the Himalayas as its inspiration. It sits on the Cospillot piste, ski-in and ski-out, with the Three Valleys on the doorstep and the village centre within walking distance. Capezzone Architecture has refreshed the interiors of light alpine wood and bronze, red velvet and Tibetan touches. Five suite-chalets of almost 300 square metres, added in December 2023, and six private chalets connect to the main building by an interior corridor and share all of its services. The Goji Spa by Nescens has an indoor pool overlooking the valley, a waterfall, sauna, hammam, hot and cold baths and an outdoor hot tub. At L'Altiplano, Guillaume Duchemin and Julien Vocanson cook Peruvian dishes over charcoal, and Le Bottleneck serves grilled meats and cheese fondues alongside a notable Petrus collection. A Kids Klub, a ski shop and the Winston Klub smoking lounge complete the house. The main building has 29 rooms and suites, and the hotel holds three MICHELIN Keys.
