Amorita in Puerto Princesa is the Palawan sister of the Amorita on Bohol, opened in March 2026 by the Philippine group One-Of Collection. It sits on F. Ponce de Leon Road in Barangay San Pedro, on a stretch of shoreline edged with mangroves and tropical gardens and looking over the Sulu Sea, with a sandbar close enough to reach by kayak. The resort has three storeys and 68 keys: 52 suites, 14 one-bedroom Palawan Pool Villas and two Grand Pool Villas with two bedrooms, all the villas with their own pools. Rooms have rain showers, and the premier suites have soaking tubs on the balcony. A circular freshwater pool with a swim-up bar faces the sea. Turchino is the modern Italian restaurant, with tables inside and out, and Katala serves Filipino and international food through the day. The Sea Tree Spa, a fitness centre and conference rooms complete the picture. Days can be spent kayaking, on water bikes, cycling, at archery, on a catamaran or bird-watching, with cameras lent to birders, and the resort runs without single-use plastic. It makes a calm base for the underground river and the firefly trips in the bay.
