The Antarctic Peninsula

A flight of about two hours to King George Island in the South Shetlands, past the Chilean and Russian stations at Frei and Bellingshausen, and by Zodiac to the ship. The voyage then follows the weather and the ice between the South Shetland Islands and the western coast of the peninsula, with areas such as the Antarctic Sound, the Gerlache Strait and the Penola Strait. Each day there are Zodiac landings and outings with the polar guides, to see penguins, seals, seabirds and whales among the fjords and icebergs, and talks on board in the evening.

Ways to make it yours

  1. An extra night in Punta Arenas before or after the voyage
  2. Sea kayaking among the glaciers with a kayak guide
  3. Hiking and snowshoeing inland with a small group
  4. A longer voyage of nine nights that aims for the Antarctic Circle

This is a sample. The hotels, the pace and the order are where we start, not where we finish: every journey is designed around the people taking it.

Made around you

Most travel is bought. This is designed.

Before anything is booked, we talk: who is travelling, how you like to spend a morning, and the hotel preferences below the obvious, from the kind of bath you like to the time you wake and how much daylight you need in a room. You see options where options matter and clean recommendations where they don't.

The same person remains your point of contact from the first reply to the trip after next. No handovers. No team.
