Days 1 to 5 · four nights
Kathmandu
Four days in the Kathmandu Valley with a specialist guide, organised around spiritual encounters, living culture, contemporary Kathmandu, and the stories behind its lesser known temples. The days lead into restoration workshops, quiet corners of the city that few visitors reach, and meetings with people who keep the old crafts and rituals going.
Where you stay
Dwarika's Hotel
Dwarika's Hotel is in the Battisputali district of Kathmandu, built around courtyards and filled with carved beams, lattices and pillars rescued from old buildings. A workshop on site still restores centuries-old woodwork by traditional methods, and the kitchen draws on six farms in the valleys around the city. There is a spa and a yoga pavilion.

Days 5 to 8 · three nights
Dhulikhel
The journey continues out of the valley to Dhulikhel, where the days turn to Himalayan wellbeing: introductions to its practices, treatments and quiet time on the hillside above the valleys.
Where you stay
Dwarika's Sanctuary
Dwarika's Sanctuary sits on a hillside in the Himalayan foothills at Dhulikhel, among terraced farms and forest above the valleys near the Indrawati River. Its wellbeing spaces include an infinity pool, a Himalayan salt house, a meditation cave and a maze for walking meditation, with a spa village offering Ayurvedic treatments and daily yoga and breathwork.
Ways to make it yours
This is a sample. The hotels, the pace and the order are where we start, not where we finish: every journey is designed around the people taking it.
Made around you
Most travel is bought. This is designed.
Before anything is booked, we talk: who is travelling, how you like to spend a morning, and the hotel preferences below the obvious, from the kind of bath you like to the time you wake and how much daylight you need in a room. You see options where options matter and clean recommendations where they don't.
The same person remains your point of contact from the first reply to the trip after next. No handovers. No team.
